HETTERICH FIELDWORK GBR

With the motto ‘Reliability – Competency – Quality’ the Ingenieurbüro A. Hetterich has been providing field crops research services since more than 20 years.

The company was founded in 1993 by Andreas Hetterich at today’s head office in Schwarzach-Düllstadt, located close to Würzburg in northern Bavaria. Now the Ingenieurbüro A. Hetterich is working at various sites throughout Germany in order to provide the kind of substantial data required by plant protection, plant nutrition and crop breeding industries.

Since 1999 the testing facility has been GEP certified under paragraph 3 of Article 1c of the Plant Protection Products Ordinance for the categories arable farming, meadows and pastures, vegetable growing, fruit growing and viticulture (renewal in 2004, 2009 and 2014).

In 2007 the Ingenieurbüro A. Hetterich was awarded GLP certification according to §19b Chemikaliengesetz and Directive 2004/9/EC.

Fabian Hetterich joined the company in 2013 after his Master of Agricultural Science at the TUM (Technische Universität München) and for that reason it was renamed to Hetterich Fieldwork GbR.

With branch offices in Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Nordrhein-Westfalen, and subsidiary test sites in Brandenburg and Sachsen we are able to cover a wide range of environmental and cropping requirements such as varied soil and climate conditions and diverse pest, disease and weed populations.

On-site management of field trial sites by highly qualified local staff facilitates studies which allow the development of sound statements regarding the agronomic value of new cultivars or the efficacy of various pesticides and fertilizers.

The Hetterich Fieldwork GbR provides our clients the opportunity for nationwide presentation of their products in demonstration /exhibition fields as well as participation in monitoring programs.

European trials take place in Poland, Danemark, Sweden, Netherlands, Austria and Romania. Cooperation with other service companies allow us to offer trials in French and Spain as well.

Since 2015 there is a trial greenhouse at our head office station in Schwarzach. It allows us to conduct trials under controlled conditions over the whole year.
